"It was a real pleasure working with EnviroScience. Thanks again for your labs's great work. We were able to get our trial started on time and we appreciate your flexibility to allow us to schedule the experiment so fast. We will certainly call on your lab if we need more Ecotox testing in the future." Dave Lach, Regulatory Scientist, Sanosil International LLC
The aquatic toxicology laboratory at EnviroScience conducts superior testing for municipal, industrial, and private sector clients. Operational seven days a week, the laboratory provides flexible scheduling, comprehensive sampling, expert consultation, and timely reporting.
Quality assurance is achieved through strict adherence to guidelines established by state and federal regulatory agencies, in-house culturing, and a dedicated staff.
Aquatic toxicity tests, also known as bioassays or Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) Testing, are used to monitor the toxicity of discharge waters.
Bioassays are a cost effective evaluation of potential environmental impacts and provide a measure of the interaction between constituents in a wastewater discharge. Aquatic test organisms are subjected to varying concentrations of wastewater, under controlled laboratory conditions. Toxicity levels are determined by statistical analysis.
