ES Mid-Atlantic Office Opens in Response to New Opportunities from Energy and Rail Industries

STOW, OH (April 30, 2015) – EnviroScience is excited to announce the opening of a new Mid-Atlantic office in Richmond, Virginia to better serve clients and build connections in the region. The new office is located at 551 Eastpark Court, Sandston, Virginia 23150, just east of downtown Richmond off of I-64 and just north of the airport. The official opening date of the office is June 1, 2015.

“We feel that expanding regionally provides our clients with the high quality work typical of EnviroScience and at the same time provides opportunities for the advancement for our employees,” President Jamie Krejsa said. “We are very confident in the work opportunities that the Richmond area provides and even more confident in the individuals that are headed to Richmond to turn this into a success.”

EnviroScience has selected a number of key personnel to oversee the new office. For example, Cortney Marquette has been named Manager of Mid-Atlantic Operations and has been with EnviroScience for the past 10 years. She worked closely with CEO Marty Hilovsky in managing aquaculture and natural resource projects throughout the U.S. In addition to her professional experience, she also understands the company culture and operations, making her a perfect fit for the position. Ms. Marquette will oversee sales, marketing, budgets and personnel.

Other key employees relocating to the Mid-Atlantic office from Ohio are Max Koran and Nick Schell. Mr. Koran will be in charge of expanding the reach of EnviroScience’s Emergency Response Services. To date, Max has been instrumental in providing technical assistance, planning, oversight, and coordination for EnviroScience’s response work on natural and industrial disasters. Mr. Schell will also join Marquette and Koran to further expand Natural Resources work. His strong background in fisheries and natural resources as well as managing large contracts will be essential for managing this office’s expected growth over the next five years.

Opening a new regional office is one of several exciting business developments at EnviroScience in the past year. Last fall, EnviroScience secured a contract valued at over $2.5 million dollars to assist the U.S. EPA in the National Coastal Assessment Project. Additionally, EnviroScience has hired 20 new employees in 2015 and continues to strategically diversify its services.  It now has more than 95 full-time employees.
